About the event
The 78th Annual Kite Festival presented by Ocean Beach Kiwanis and Ocean Beach Woman's Club, are in need of volunteers to assist in Kite Loop Tying and Kite Frame Construction. Drop by the OBWC Clubhouse (2160 Bacon Street) on Saturday, April 12th between 10 am to 1 pm to lend a hand. Instructions and construction will be continual between those hours to fit volunteer personal schedules. We have about 2,000 kites that need to be prepared! Over years of doing this, we have learned 2 kites can be completed within a minute after demonstration. Some people can work faster.
Refreshments will be served.
